a season of outsiders
This season we look at characters that fall outside the bounds of society, both literally and metaphorically. The outsiders in our season are exiles from their homes, their families, their kingdoms, and themselves. Or they never quite fit in from the beginning. Our season explores how we all fight to find peace with our place in life, to recapture what was lost, or to create a new "normal."

Next to Normal (March 24-April 8): The Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning family drama about a woman dealing with mental illness, and the impact the struggle within her own mind has on her entire family.
The Tempest (Summer Dates TBD): Shakespeare's final play explores exile, magic, love, and redemption within the confines of a single remote island. And it all begins with a storm..."O, wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in't!"
Batboy, The Musical (October 13-28): Winner of Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel, Richard Rodgers, American Academy of Arts and Letters, and Outer Critics Circle Awards, Bat Boy, The Muscial is based on a June 23, 1992 Weekly World News story about a half-boy, half-bat, dubbed "Bat Boy", who grew up living in a cave.
