“Ordinary Fool” CD Release party concert with songstress Lynda D’Amour.

Lynda D’Amour makes her debut on the stage of Arts After Hours at LynnArts' Rantoul Black Box Theater celebrating the release of Ordinary Fool, her debut CD.  Ms. D’Amour will be backed by a trio of Boston’s finest musicians; Mark Poniatowski on bass, Mick Lewander on drums, and Jim Rice on piano and Music Director for the event.  Performing song selections from the CD, including some written by Irving Berlin,  Van Heusen & Burke, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Stevie Wonder, and Bricusse & Newley to name a few.  She will also perform song selections from several of her recent NYC shows.
 
Described as possessing a chameleon voice with her interpretations of jazzbluespop, and show tune classics, Lynda’s work has been showcased at venue’s in both Boston and New York City such as Boston’s Scullers Jazz Club, North Shore Music Theater, the Napoleon Room at Club CafĂ©, Ryles Jazz Club, Lyric Stage, and New York City’s (Wednesday Night at the) Iguana variety series, and Don’t Tell Mama.

Based on the series of films of the same name, Evil Dead: The Musical will be yet another destination on the North Shore for Halloween 2012. Come enjoy all the blood you can handle in this hilarious adaptation as a group of friends head off in to the woods, some turn into Candarian demons and others fight for their lives. They sing songs such as "All the Men in my Life Keep Gettting Killed by Cadaraian Demons," "Look Who's Evil Now," and "Do the Necromnomicon." Don't miss this groovy, bloody, Ashy musical experience this Halloween in Lynn.
